The recital will include transcription for guitar of music by Mompou, who’s music invites a profound exploration of listening—an intimate dialogue between musician and instrument, a secret conversation. This intimacy shaped both his compositional and interpretative processes, leading him to develop an approach deeply rooted in the tactile perception of the vibrating instrument.
