Dr Marta Lasek-Markey is an Assistant Lecturer in Law in the School of Social Sciences, Law and Education. She teaches in the areas of EU Law and Law and Technology.

Marta is also the Erasmus coordinator for Law at TU Dublin.

Marta’s research interests sit at the intersection of labour rights, employment regulation, and technology governance within the European Union context. She has published in leading academic journals, including the European Law Journal, the European Labour Law Journal, the European Journal of Law and Technology and many others. She is the author of a monograph titled Law, Precarious Labour and Posted Workers. A Sociolegal Study on Posted Work in the EU (Routledge, 2023). Prior to joining TU Dublin, Marta was based at Trinity College Dublin, where she was a Research Fellow at the interdisciplinary ADAPT Centre, and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Law.
