Dr Ramat Tobi Abudu-Olabode is an Assistant Lecturer in Law at the School of Social Sciences, Law and Education at TU Dublin. Her research focuses on public international law, with particular interests in human rights, the law of the sea, climate law, maritime security and human security. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges global legal frameworks with emerging socio-political and environmental challenges. Further details of her research and scholarly interests can be found [here].
She earned her PhD in International Law from University College Cork and has previously held lecturing and teaching positions at Maynooth University, Griffith College Dublin, University College Dublin, and University College Cork. Her teaching experience spans a wide array of modules, including:

She is a Committee Member for Ireland on the EU COST Action BlueRight Project, which explores legal protections of human rights at sea. She is also a reviewer for Third World Quarterly and an active member of several professional and scholarly networks, including:
