Sandra Ratcliffe is a Lecturer in the School of Social Sciences, Law, and Education at Technological University Dublin. She has primarily taught in the areas of child protection, family studies, professional practice, group work and personal and professional development. Sandra has been involved in the development and the co-ordination of several degree programmes, most recently the CORU approved degree in applied social studies in social care.
In addition to lecturing, curriculum development and undergraduate and postgraduate supervision roles, Sandra has recently published and presented on the Use of Self in Social Care and Groupwork in Social Work Practice.
Prior to moving to an academic position, Sandra has extensive social work practice experience, primarily working with children and families in hospital and community settings. She has also been a part-time lecturer/tutor with a Master in Social Work programme since 2003.

Family Studies, Child Protection, Professional Development, Group Work Practice.
