Zhen Wei, a Senior Demonstrator at TU Dublin; a Senior Lecturer at Hainan University

Awarded PhD degree from Hainan Normal University; PhD Candidate (2015–2021), School of Tourism and Hospitality, Technological University Dublin. Successfully passed PhD viva with minor corrections (June 2021). He was appointed as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Surrey (since 2025).

Research interests: Ecotourism; Sustainable Tourism; Pro-environmental Behaviour; (Green) Governmentality; Root-seeking Tourism; Emotional and Cultural Adaptation in Hospitality.
