Lecturers organise Pint of Science event focusing on Health

The Pint of Science festival annually brings Irish scientists together in an informal setting of a pub or cafe to discuss and present their research to a public audience.
This year, John Butler and Nicole Beisiegel, lecturers in the School of Mathematical Sciences hosted an event focussing on aspects of Health from DNA to microbes and health informatics. It was a fascinating and enjoyable event and we look forward to next year's event in 2022 when we hope to bring science and mathematics back into the pubs and cafes of Ireland.
