Joe Warne

Director of the Sports Science Replication Centre

Dr. Joe Warne is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science at Technological University Dublin and a founding member of the Sport Science Research Centre (SSRC). Historically, Joe has focused on understanding how footwear influences lower-limb mechanics, proprioception, and injury risk. His recent research focuses on meta-science, including research transparency, reproducibility, and data-sharing practices within sport and exercise science. Dr. Warne leads initiatives that promote collaborative research, open data, and student involvement in meta-research projects aimed at improving scientific rigor and reducing research waste.
