TU Dublin Among First Institutions Awarded TrustEd Ireland Quality Mark

TU Dublin has been officially approved to carry the TrustEd Ireland Quality Mark after successfully completing a rigorous national evaluation process overseen by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI). The official launch of TrustEd Ireland by Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, James Lawless TD, represents a significant milestone for Ireland’s higher education system and strengthens its standing as a globally respected education destination.
TrustEd Ireland is a statutory national accreditation that recognises higher education institutions which meet robust standards in the recruitment, protection, education and overall support of international learners. The designation confirms effective governance structures, adherence to QQI’s Code of Practice, and responsible, ethical engagement with students and education partners worldwide.
Authorisation to use the TrustEd Ireland Quality Mark affirms TU Dublin’s commitment to maintaining high standards in teaching, learner protection and institutional oversight. It provides assurance to international students, their families and education partners that the University operates in full compliance with national regulations while prioritising student wellbeing and academic integrity.

The designation provides additional confidence to learners through strengthened statutory safeguards, including access to the Learner Protection Fund and clearly defined procedures designed to protect students’ academic continuity and financial interests in exceptional circumstances.
The authorisation follows a comprehensive institutional review and formal submission to QQI. An independent panel of experts assessed TU Dublin against the TrustEd Ireland Higher Education Code of Practice before recommending approval to display the Quality Mark.
