About School of Architecture

The Dublin School of Architecture is unique in the Irish architectural and construction education landscape and has been providing professional architectural education since 1942 and construction skills education for over a century.

The School was restructured in 2013 to combine the disciplines of architecture, architectural technology and construction and now offers professionally-accredited programmes from apprenticeship to postgraduate research and PhD, combining the activities of architectural and technical design with the craft of making buildings.

The School is committed to providing academic leadership in the development of innovative science and technology-led building performance programmes which address the professional and CPD needs of architects, architectural technologists, construction professionals and craft workers as the building industry seeks to meet the challenge of legislative requirements for sustainable and low energy building.
