Aurora LDP
TU Dublin People Development has identified Leadership Development as a priority for all staff who are responsible for managing people and for those who aspire to leadership roles. The Aurora Leadership Development Programme however, is specifically designed to support women to understand and address barriers to progression identified in the HEA Review of Gender Equality in Higher Education (June 2016) , the Gender Task Force Action Plan (2018), and to support the recommendations of the TU Dublin Athena SWAN Action Plan.
The programme is for women at the start of, or who are aspiring to their leadership career, and who have undertaken little or no leadership training to date. There are 7 places available and staff from all categories that meet the criteria are eligible to apply. An evaluation panel will review all applications to select the Aurora cohort.
