Mr. Ananthakrishnan Pacheeri is a Polymer Technologist and PhD Scholar, who joined the Centre for Sustainable Packaging and Bioproducts (CSPB), TU Dublin in 2025 under a DAFM-funded project. His research primarily focuses on the sustainable extraction of nanocellulose and lignin from agricultural feedstocks, as well as their applications in food packaging, energy, and environmental Applications. He completed his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Polymer Technology from the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and his Master of Science (M.Sc), in Applied Polymer Science from the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Chennai. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in industrial chemistry from the University of Calicut.

Before joining the CSPB, he worked as a researcher at the MSNE Lab, CUSAT, Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IITM), where he gained valuable experience in polymer research and materials development. He has published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed book chapters in the field of polymer science and sustainable materials.
