The Gastronomy Archive is an ongoing project capturing the history of food and drink in all its aspects. The categories of material included encompass both the institutional and the personal, the producer and the consumer, the hotelier, restaurateur, retailer, wholesaler and the customer. Food and drink is part of our social experiences and is integral to our social and cultural history. This archive is all embracing, with a particular emphasis on Ireland.
