Mariana holds a PhD in Biological Science and a Specialisation in Technology and Innovation Management. Having worked in early-stage start-ups focused on plant cell culture, precision fermentation and sustainable materials, she brings experience in multidisciplinary, applied R&D. Her background combines industry-oriented research, project coordination, and stakeholder and external partners engagement. Mariana also brings a strong experience in laboratory operations, including procurement, equipment and inventory management, and implementation of GLP and health and safety practices.
