Broad research area and interests:

My research looks at how babies and children (from birth to 12 years) can be fed in ways that support their health and development. I am also interested in how families and communities can be supported to make these healthy and sustainable food choices, including during emergencies when access to food may be more difficult.

What societal groups do you aim to positively affect and support through collaborative research?

I aim to support families and professionals caring for babies and children, especially in vulnerable settings, by promoting equitable access to nutrition and sustainable feeding.

How might your involvement in engaged research support these groups?

By working with families, communities, health workers and policymakers, my research helps to find practical ways to feed babies and children well, with a focus on supporting very vulnerable babies and their carers, especially in difficult situations.
