How the interaction of light with biological samples (cells, tissue, biofluids) can be used to identify disease, underpinning human health (SDG3).

What societal groups do you aim to positively affect and support through collaborative research?

The public and their health, through collaborations with clinical partners and the National Virus Reference Laboratory. 

How might engaging in collaborative research with TU Dublin might support these groups in the longer term?

Providing new ways, based on light, to detect healthy versus diseased biological samples, to improve public health.
