The TU Dublin Leadership Development micro-credential enables current and aspiring leaders to transform their leadership capability and impact. The programme is designed around the pillars of Personal Leadership including (leadership style, personal effectiveness, leaders effectiveness, well-being) and Team Leadership (establishing and leading high-performance teams). The programme builds on the core discipline specific skills of the student and develops knowledge, skills, and behaviours to be an effective leader in any organisation and sector.
A primary degree from a recognised university in any discipline or an equivalent professional qualification. Applicants who do not have a primary degree or equivalent professional qualification but have significant professional experience may be considered through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Upon successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
- Demonstrate a critical understanding of leadership theory and the contextual factors at play in organisations.
- Critically reflect on their personal leadership effectiveness.
- Formulate an action plan to build a high-performance team.
