COMAD 1986 Reunion

The College of Marketing and Design Class of 1986 reunited in Dublin on Saturday, 3 October 2026, to celebrate 40 years since graduation. The special occasion brought former classmates together at the Marlin Hotel for an evening of reconnection, reminiscence and celebration.

Organised by Michele O’Briain and Alex Gibson, the reunion welcomed graduates from across Ireland, the UK and further afield. It was a wonderful opportunity to catch up with old friends, share memories of college days and reflect on the journeys everyone has taken over the past four decades.

The reunion highlighted the lasting friendships and connections formed during their time at college and the enduring sense of community among TU Dublin graduates. Forty years on, the Class of 1986 demonstrated that the bonds built at college can last a lifetime, with the occasion providing an opportunity to celebrate the past while creating new memories together.
