IMPXCT Innovation Management Summit 2025: Ireland’s Innovation Leaders Unite at TU Dublin
TU Dublin Enterprise Academy Advances National Innovation Agenda at IMPXCT Summit 2025
Technological University Dublin hosted the sold-out IMPXCT Innovation Summit, a landmark gathering of Ireland’s brightest minds in innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry leadership. The event was made possible through the support of IDA Ireland and the TU Dublin Enterprise Academy, and builds on the foundational work of Technical Committee TC45, convened by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), which shapes best practices in Innovation Management.
Innovation management provides a framework to manage Research and Development (R&D) and foster creativity. This year’s summit centred on advancing Innovation Management through the ISO 56001 framework, bringing together stakeholders from industry, academia, and policy to explore how organisations can embed innovation effectively and sustainably.
Strategic imperatives of Innovation Management
Dr. Claire McBride, Head of the Enterprise Academy, opened the summit with a compelling keynote on the strategic value of Innovation Management. She highlighted its transformative power in driving economic growth, enhancing competitiveness, and creating sustainable employment across sectors.
Facilitated discussions and expert panels led by Eoin Flavin and Declan Arthur delved into the ISO 56000 family of global standards. Contributions from leaders across Innovate Island, Industry Research & Development Group (IRDG), National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), and IDA Ireland enriched the dialogue with real-world insights and strategic perspectives.

A community of innovation, entrepreneurship and industry leaders
The sold-out IMPXCT summit brought together a vibrant community of innovators, from startups to multinationals, sharing success stories, surfacing challenges, and exploring both the creative dynamics and the structured methodologies that underpin successful innovation practices.
