Collaborative Provision
A recognised TU Dublin qualification that validates a programmes quality and credibility
Collaborative provision at TU Dublin encompasses formal partnerships with national and international institutions to jointly develop and deliver academic programmes.
The Enterprise Academy at TU Dublin plays a pivotal role in advancing collaborative provision by partnering with enterprises to validate and accredit industry-led training programmes. This enables organisations that have their internal training initiatives formally recognised and accredited, ensuring alignment with QQI standards and TU Dublin's academic frameworks. We are involved in multiple innovative collaborative provision projects that align academic expertise with industry needs.
In the collaboration with Technology Ireland DIGITAL Skillnet to accredit the Women ReBOOT programme, a career re-entry initiative for women in the technology sector. Participants of this programme can now earn a 15 ECTS TU Dublin Certificate in Career Development, enhancing the programme's value and recognition in the industry.
A trusted certification that supports career advancement and meets industry standards
The Enterprise Academy, in partnership with SGS Ireland, developed an innovative accredited programme to address the medical device industry's regulatory challenges. This collaboration led to the creation of a Level 9 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificate in Implementing Regulatory Requirements for Medical Devices, equipping professionals with essential skills to navigate the complexities of the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR).
The programme, delivered entirely online over 10 weeks, combines SGS's expertise as a Notified Body with TU Dublin's academic rigor, ensuring participants gain practical, industry-relevant knowledge. Accreditation by TU Dublin not only validates the programme's quality but also enhances its credibility, providing learners with a recognised qualification that supports career advancement and meets industry standards.
Through such partnerships, the Enterprise Academy facilitates the integration of practical, industry-specific training with formal academic recognition, addressing evolving workforce needs and promoting lifelong learning.
