2 Online Interactive Design Workshop for Female Students in Technology Programmes in TU Dublin Online interactive design two hour workshop in which students currently studying in technology programmes in TU Dublin (across all campuses) work on a series of design challenges in breakout teams which would comprise of lecturers and industry representatives. 3 Traveller Representation in the Early Childhood Education and Care Programme in TU Dublin This project will focus on internal and external issues regarding Traveller visibility in the TU Dublin Blanchardstown ECEC programme Colette Murray, and 4th year students ECEC programme
4 Finding a space for diversity, equity and inclusion in the School of Surveying and Construction Management. Creating a physical space in the School to promote diversity, equity and inclusion. The proposal is for a noticeboard on the School’s floor with a featured artwork to promote the objectives and encourage participation in the newly formed group Frank Harrington
5 Developing a positive and confident entrepreneurial leadership (part of a major PhD research project: “An Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis of the Lived Experiences of Women Entrepreneurs when Interacting with Government Support Agencies in Ireland) The aim of this project is to discuss issues of entrepreneurial identity and leadership from the perspective of women entrepreneurs Edicleia Oliveira

6 A Mapping of Immigrant Entrepreneurs in Ireland The study is seeking to analyse the distinctive challenges endured by immigrants in Ireland when seeking to start their own business and what supports should be offered by policymakers, enterprise support agencies and other stakeholders to enable foreign nationals to maximise their economic and social potential. 8 AT for All- Enhancing and Supporting an Assistive Technology Resource for TU Dublin The community of practice leaders are seeking to extend the physical elements of this resource to language support elements, extend its website support for a second year and to showcase the activity and work of the group in an event in December 2021. 11 Recognise, Reflect, Respond: Moving Forward Together  We intend to organise two workshops to foster relationships among  students and staff of the cross campus Faculty. At these workshops we will explore how we can support Teaching and Learning to foster an equitable and inclusive Post Pandemic learning experience for our students. Importantly,  at these events we will collect viewpoints and experiences through focus groups to inform the new Teaching and Learning strategy of the Faculty.   Muireann O'Keeffe
12 Heritage Languages and Inclusive Learning Environments – Lessons for TU Dublin DEI BN propose to deliver initiatives aimed at enabling staff and students to consider Heritage Languages and Inclusive Learning Environments in their context through awareness-raising, training and workshop events.
The events will be an opportunity to connect with like-minded colleagues and share collective learnings with the potential aim of contributing to a CoP

13 Rainbow Week 2022  Since the pandemic, many students have felt isolated and removed from college life and their friends. We want to hold events that facilitate students getting back into college life as well as enabling students to return to a social setting. This project would also allow students to educate themselves with regard to issues within the LGBTQ community   Brian Jordan
14 Diversity & Intercultural Inclusion in Hospitality (D&ICIH): promoting intercultural awareness and integrating best practices among the TU Dublin community  This proposal focuses on investigating cultural differences and communication barriers migrant workers encounter in hospitality services within TU Dublin, improving the relationship between the staff and students, and implementing good practices in the university. An Event to Promote the Inclusion & Visibility of LGBTQI+ Staff in the Activities of TU Dublin for LGBT History Month. Tues 15th February 2022 @ 1pm  Conor Horan
16 ‘Share our Similarities, Celebrate our Differences’ Photo Competition People will be asked to submit photos under the theme of “Share our Similarities, Celebrate our Differences” and to place a caption on the photo inspired by Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Construction Industry. The student could be highlighting issues EDI people face in the industry, or highlighting ways in which the industry has become more EDI friendly.
We propose to use a panel of judges to choose the winner.
