Reporting

Reporting Options for Informing the University of an incident/event(s) of sexual or gender-based violence or harassment:

• Anonymous Reporting Tool - Speakout is the anonymous reporting tool employed by TU Dublin. It provides the opportunity to make the University aware of incidents that have been either experienced or witnessed by reporting them anonymously. More information can be found at Speak Out.
• Disclosure – informing the sexual violence and response manager or a member of the university that they feel they have been subjected to sexual harassment and/or sexual or gender-based violence.
• Informal Reporting/Process – an informal complaint may be raised prior to submitting it in writing to the university. A complaint can only be addressed by the university once it has been received on the complaints form, however an informal process and resolution can still be reached after submitting a written complaint. In incidents of sexual and gender-based violence and harassment, the nature of the incident will determine whether the informal resolution process is appropriate and will be decided by the screening panel.
• Formal Complaints Process - When a formal complaint is made, the formal procedure of a Student Disciplinary Board will occur.
