On Thursday, 12 February, TU Dublin hosted an evening exploring nature and the local community of Cabra at East Quad in Grangegorman. The event Resilient Cabra: Stories of People, Place, Nature and Water hosted short films, photographs and projects about Cabra which have been produced by TU Dublin Media and Civil Engineering students.

The short films produced by TU Dublin media students featured interviews with members of the local community including Reilly's Community Garden, the Cabra Men's Shed and the Dublin 7 Women's Shed. The films focus on the River Bradogue which was culverted in the 1930s, flooding in the area, and some of the nature restoration work happening Cabra. Civil Engineering students presented an exhibition of Urban Greening projects created for the nearby Annamoe Parade.
