TU Dublin Celebrates 18 Teams Through to Smarter Travel Student Awards Finals
TU Dublin student projects have been nominated for the 2025/2026 Smarter Travel Student Awards and a total of 18 groups are going through to the finals. This is the highest number of project finalists from any single higher education institution in Ireland.
Finalists are invited to attend an awards ceremony where the winners will be announced on 7 May in the Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin 7.
Participants were tasked to submit a project that encourages, supports and enables sustainable and active travel on the commute to campus and beyond. In doing so, projects address opportunities for reductions in emissions associated with transport.
