Women’s football is growing faster than ever, but where next for the game?
Join TU Dublin School of Media and Shamrock Rovers F.C. for a one-day international conference exploring the changing world of women’s football: from equity and fan cultures to leadership, governance, and media representations.
Bringing together international researchers, journalists, and sporting leaders and players, the event examines key issues in equality, governance, media representation, player welfare, and the commercial growth of the women’s game.
Speakers include RTÉ’s Marie Crowe and Mark Tighe of the Sunday Independent (Girls in Green), Dr Katie Liston (Ulster University), Tommy Carberry (Head of Shamrock Rovers Girls Academy) and representatives from the Irish Football Supporters Partnership, the FAI, Shamrock Rovers FC, the UK Football Supporters Association, CONIFA, and the German Football Association.
Venue: Technological University Dublin, Tallaght Campus; Rooms 25 & 29
