Rosemary Molloy graduated from University College Dublin and TU Dublin Conservatoire. She is a staff member of the Keyboard Department in the Junior Conservatoire and taught piano in Newpark Music Centre for many years.
Rosemary is a highly experienced and committed piano teacher and her students have enjoyed success in festivals and competitions including Feis Ceoil. Other Local successes for her students over the years, include many first prize and other awards in Festivals run by The European Piano Teachers Association, Newpark Music Centre and Arklow Music Festival.
Rosemary is particularly interested and experienced in identifying and nurturing young talent and a number of her students have gone on to study with Internationally recognised performers and pedagogues such as Maria João Pires and Hugh Tinney.
Many of her students have also studied in masterclasses with wonderful artists and teachers including Barry Douglas, Christopher Elton, Hilary Coates, Philip Martin and Mark Swartzentruber.
Rosemary and her students have enjoyed collaborating with her colleagues in the Keyboard Department on research projects for example, The Finland Project, Chamber Music and some performance collaborations with The Department of Orchestral Studies.
Rosemary’s other research interests include Music Education for children on the Autism Spectrum and for those who live with Dyslexia.
