Experience Music at TU Dublin Conservatoire
The Transition Year Programme in Music at TU Dublin Conservatoire offers students a unique opportunity to experience third-level music study in a dynamic conservatoire setting. Designed for students considering an undergraduate degree in music, the programme provides insight into the BMus experience at TU Dublin Conservatoire.
Programme Highlights
- Performance classes and chamber music coaching
- Workshops in musicology, pedagogy, composition, music technology, early music, and traditional music
- Opportunities to observe and/or participate in rehearsals with larger ensembles, including the TU Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra
- A concluding lunchtime recital performed by the programme participants
Who Can Apply
The programme is open to instrumental and vocal students in both classical and traditional music genres. Applicants should be Transition Year students who are considering further study in music and who can demonstrate musical experience, commitment, and performance potential. A minimum standard of Grade 5, or equivalent, is required.
