TY Experience Week
Ten transition year students from local schools took part in an inaugural experience week in February in the school of computer science at our Grangegorman campus. The students were helping to develop and evaluate teaching material for use in future transition year engagement events such as our popular Summer Camps held annually in May. They also took part in joint research with our partners in Trinity College Dublin to help with evaluating the next release of the https://pytch.org project.
The experience week was very successful with the school receiving excellent feedback from the participating students. We plan to make this a regular annual event.
