International Society of Automation (ISA) Award

We are delighted to announce that Brian Flanagan, a part-time student, has been awarded the prestigious ISA (International Society of Automation) Ireland Section, Degree Award 2025.
Brian was nominated by lecturers from the BSc in Process Instrumentation and Automation programme (TU724) at the Blanchardstown campus. Balancing full-time employment with his studies, Brian successfully completed his degree with distinction—a remarkable achievement that demonstrates his dedication and commitment. This award recognizes the best final year degree student specializing in Instrumentation and Control. The ceremony was hosted at the SETU Carlow campus where students, teachers and industry representatives gathered to celebrate.
