Dermot is a construction professional and has over 25 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, in both the United States and Ireland in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management and in Project Controls. In 2007 he joined the School of Surveying and Construction Innovation in Technological University (TU) Dublin and is currently delivering modules on Quantity Surveying and Construction Management Programmes. Dermot has experience and has carried out extensive research in the areas of digitisation in construction, sustainability and Life Cycle Costing (LCC). Dermot completed a PhD in ‘Leveraging Building Information Modelling (BIM).
