School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Student Wins National Award

Congratulations to a recent graduate of the BSc in Process Instrumentation and Control course, Eddie Walsh, who was presented with a prestigious award by the ISA (International Society of Automation) Ireland Section.

Eddie received the Degree Award for the best ordinary degree final-year student studying Instrumentation and Automation in Ireland. Eddie's nomination was based on his final year project, "Domestic greywater as an energy source" His work was supervised by Mr Brendan McAdam, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The ISA Ireland annual honours and awards are judged by an independent panel of technical experts on behalf of the ISA Ireland Section. The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, 25 January 2023, at 1800 in the Council Room at Munster Technological University in Cork.
