A one day radiation safety course covering Basic Concepts in Radiological Protection, Health Effects of Ionising Radiation, Principles of Protection from External & Internal Radiation, Compliance with Legislation and Licensing Procedures, Radiation Safety & Emergency Procedures at TU Dublin Kevin Street. A written examination will be held during the course along with a practical group exercise on dealing with an emergency scenario, and certificates will be issued to all candidates.
