Student Mental Health Policy roll out: The Lite bite series
This September the university lens will focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing. In June 2025, the Student Mental Health Policy and Student Support Guides were approved as such several events will be held over this semester to launch and roll out this significant policy to the wider university community. With these events we hope to continue to grow and support a culture of understanding and advocacy for mental health and wellbeing.
On October 8th the President will officially launch the Student Mental Health Policy and the Elephant in the Room Sculpture with a coffee conversation and marketplace event. In conjunction, Student Support, Academic Affairs, and People Development and Healthy campus will host the online Lite Bite series to grow awareness, of the policy, guides and supports available to Students as the navigate their university journey. The Market place will showcase the wealth of support provided by the university in respect of mental health and wellbeing, while the café conversations will open the conversation on mental health and all it’s facets and support needs.
