Health and Safety

In a First-Aid emergency, First Aid Responders in your building/area are the first point of contact. If none are available, a staff member trained in Emergency First-Aid or an Occupational Health Advisor can be called.
  • Details of First Aid Responders are available here and Emergency First-Aid trained staff here.
  • First-aid kits and AEDs are available at the porter’s desk/reception in all main campus buildings.
  • Injured/unwell students can visit their local Student Health Centre during term-time.
  • Your local Occupational Health Advisor is also available for first-aid advice/treatment.

Health & Safety training is required by law for all staff. This includes Manual Handling, Emergency Response, and Emergency First Aid.
