When Does My Course Start?

Teaching for the 2026/27 academic year generally commences from Monday, 14 September 2026.

However, postgraduate and part-time programmes can have different start dates, so it is important to check the information provided by your School or programme team. Your programme team will confirm your specific start date, class arrangements and any programme-specific information by email. Please check your TU Dublin email regularly for updates.

Orientation

Your School or programme team will provide details of any postgraduate orientation or induction arrangements for your course. Orientation is an important opportunity to:

Meet your lecturers and programme team
Meet other students on your course
Learn more about your programme and modules
Find out about your timetable and class arrangements
Familiarise yourself with your campus or online learning environment
Learn about the academic and student supports available to you
