Grangegorman First Year Orientation

Our campus at Grangegorman centres around 5 areas.  Central Quad, East Quad and Lower House, Rathdown House and Park House.

Central Quad

With more than 6,500 students, Central Quad is home to schools from the Faculties of Sciences & Health, Computing Digital & Data, Engineering & Built Environment and Arts & Humanities.  It also houses the National Optometry Centre (NOC).  It is a short walking distance from the Grangegorman Green line Luas stop, the Smithfield Red line Luas stop and is easily accessible by public transport.

East Quad

With over 3,500 students, East Quad is home to schools from the Faculty of Arts & Humanities and houses the Concert Hall and Black Box Theatre.  The campus is a short walking distance from the Broadstone Green line Luas stop or the Smithfield Red line Luas stop and is served well by public transport.

Lower House, Rathdown House and Park House are where you will find student services and supports, the canteens and the library.
