ARISE Enterprise Engagement Programme (Biopharma, Life Sciences & Medical Technologies Cohort)

With research funding being far more accessible when enterprises are involved, the ARISE programme is keen to invite TU Dublin researchers in Biopharma, Life Sciences & Medical Technologies to join the ARISE Enterprise Engagement Programme with the introductory training/mentoring session on the 2nd September.  This is a powerful, interactive professional development opportunity designed to equip you with the practical skills, mindset, and confidence to engage more effectively with industry partners.


Programme Overview: Stage 1 – Getting Enterprise Engagement Ready

With your academic schedule in mind, Stage 1 is delivered over two full-day sessions. Designed by Furthr (formerly Dublin Business Innovation Centre) and developed in collaboration with TU Dublin’s Research Hubs, the programme blends expert-led learning with practical tools tailored for applied researchers.

🧩 Session 2: Value Proposition Development & Problem Solving in Applied Research

Develop compelling value propositions that link your research directly to real business needs. Gain problem-solving frameworks to position your work as a strategic solution.

Stage 2 – Coming Soon

Researchers who complete Stage 1 will be eligible for Stage 2: Tailoring Academic Capabilities to Business Challenges (Autumn 2025 to early 2026). This includes:

  • Deep-dive modules on industry needs and research translation

  • A facilitated industry matchmaking session with 30+ enterprises

  • Access to one-to-one mentoring to support proposal development

  • A final peer-reviewed pitching session for collaborative proposals
