Dr Mary Farrell led the first national quantitative and qualitative study of gender inequality in Ireland's chef profession during my PhD at Technological University Dublin. Her findings informed a 2022 Oireachtas Committee report, and I was named to the Parabere Forum's Top 100 Women advancing gender equality in food (2020).
