Course Description
This session is designed to equip researchers' managers, particularly PIs and other senior staff who manage research teams, with the knowledge and tools to effectively support Early Career Researchers in developing their professional goals. Participants will be introduced to the Researcher Career Development Plan, a structured document that facilitates meaningful conversations around career aspirations, development needs, and long-term objectives. The session will focus on how managers can guide researchers through the planning process, provide constructive feedback, and align individual goals with broader institutional priorities, ensuring a supportive and impactful development experience.
