Are you preparing to publish your research and unsure of the options, requirements, and opportunities available? This session will guide researchers through key considerations when planning for publication, helping you maximise the visibility, impact, and accessibility of your work. Topics will include understanding publishing licences and author rights, navigating open access publishing and institutional agreements, and making research data available through data publishing. The session will also explore the growing importance of non-standard research outputs, including Data Management Plans (DMPs), research protocols, preregistrations, and other outputs that support transparency, reproducibility, and research impact.
