Time and Venue: This event will take place in person on Wednesday, 27th May from 09.00 to 14.00 in the East Quad.

Who should attend
Researchers and research-active staff at all stages of their career development, including final-year PhD students, research assistants, postdoctoral researchers,  principal investigators, academic staff and anybody else with an interest in research.

Outline
Now in its fourth edition, the Researcher Networking Event is an opportunity for all researchers and research-active staff to connect with other researchers across TU Dublin and discover all the services and opportunities available to our Research Community. Featuring opening remarks by TU Dublin's President, Dr Deirdre Lillis and a keynote address by Dr. Dympna O'Sullivan, VP for Research & Innovation, the event will proceed with an overview of the Researcher Career Development Framework and roundtable discussions on key research topics such as

  • The evolving role of AI in research
  • Unlocking the commercial potential of your work
  • Exploring the hidden EDI dimensions within research projects
  • Identifying funding opportunities
  • And much more

 

A professional photographer will also be on site on the day of the event to provide a personal profile picture to be used on professional social platforms.
