Instructions for Nominators
- As a nominator, i.e. someone who is proposing a researcher for an award, you should familiarise yourself with details about the award. These details are available when you click on the award title on the awards overview page.
- You will require another person as a co-nominator.
- Nominators should jointly complete the form, ensuring that you submit a compelling and accurate nomination and follow the instructions for completing the relevant form.
- Submit the form by 5 pm on August 10th 2026

Nomination Rules
- All current TU Dublin staff members, including contract research and innovation staff, are eligible for nomination. For the relevant categories, registered TU Dublin research degree students and TU Dublin research degree alumni are also eligible to submit nominations.
- An individual can only win once in a particular category within a five-year period.
- Only one award will be presented to an individual in a given year.
- Self-nomination is not allowed.
- A nomination can be made for an individual member of staff or a team.
- An individual can only make one nomination for any one category of award.
- An individual may be nominated in more than one category.
- A nominee must be proposed by two people.
- Nominations may only be made using the official form.
- Failure to complete or comply with the requirements of the nomination procedure will result in the withdrawal of your nomination form without review.
