Call for Papers

Posters, round tables, and suggestions for interactive panels are very welcome from scholars and practitioners. This research event aims to bring together academics and practitioners willing to share their experiences and discuss the effects of climate change on the geo-economics and geopolitics of sustainability. In addition, we welcome submissions exploring the many forms and realities of new interactions between geopolitical and geo-economic implications in conflict and peace processes, as well as its political communication and global diplomatic repercussions.

Furthermore, the globalization process and the concentration of economic activity and political power among a few players have significantly impacted international and domestic
inequalities, leading to increasing levels of instability that have materialised into adverse spillover effects on international cooperation and geopolitics of sustainability for the 2030
Agenda.

Virtual presentations will be part of our communication and dissemination approach and would be considered to accommodate cases where researchers cannot join us in UPF-BSM in Barcelona. Furthermore, we are working hard to ensure that this research event is all-inclusive to make sure that we foster face-to-face and virtual discussions.
