Critical Management Studies

This is an open call for postgraduate students interested in pursuing PhD research in the area of Critical and Decolonial Management Studies.

There is considerable potential for a number of PhD and postgraduate level research projects in the areas of Critical and Decolonial Management Studies. Such areas might include:

  • Exploring alternative, indigenous and/or non-Western ways of working and organising.
  • Using postcolonial feminist and/or decolonial feminist theories to explore the knowledge, experiences and worldviews of marginalised, indigenous women working together in the Global South.
  • Exploring new, alternative ways of organising for social and economic development in the socio-economic margins.
  • Postcolonial perspectives on the relationship between business and society.
  • Critical and postcolonial thinking in management education.

Primary Degree, 2.1 / Upper Second Class Honours or higher in relevant area

No funding available at present. 

Potential students are encouraged to seek scholarship opportunities from TU Dublin, the State, or alternative funding bodies.
