TU Dublin joined the global motorsport community this month in mourning the passing of Eddie Jordan, a pioneering figure in Formula 1. Eddie, who passed away last week at the age of 76, leaves behind an extraordinary legacy that extends far beyond the racetrack.
TU Dublin has a special connection to Eddie Jordan, who graduated initially from the College of Commerce in Rathmines and was later awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2003. This recognition celebrated his outstanding achievements in motorsport and his contributions to entrepreneurship, innovation, and Irish sporting excellence.
