We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our very own Ben Rawlins, a respected recording engineer at TU Dublin. Ben gives technical support and workshops in "Technology in Music" module and records recitals and concerts at the TU Dublin Conservatoire.

Ben's exceptional talent and dedication earned him a Grammy Award in 2022 for his work on Rhiannon Giddens and Francesco Turrisi's album "They're Calling Me Home," which took home the Best Folk Album award.

Ben, who has been with TU Dublin Conservatoire since 1999, collaborated again with Rhiannon Giddens and Francesco Turrisi this year on the powerful song "The Ballad of Sally Anne," which was recorded at TU Dublin.

The song was nominated for a Grammy, showcasing the world-class capabilities of our recording studios and our university is proud to have state-of-the-art recording facilities that enable artists like Ben to produce Grammy-worthy music.

The song is available here on Spotify and you can watch the video on YouTube.
