Ciara completed a BA in Language and Cultural Studies at U.C.C before pursuing an MA in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching at the University of Nottingham. She completed a Diploma in Digital Learning Design in 2022, and has extensive experience using a range of digital tools for teaching and learning. Ciara has joined the Digital Education service within Academic Affairs to design, coordinate and deliver digital capability training programmes to lecturing staff. Part of her role is to define digital skills sets needed to teach effectively in the in-person on-campus technology enhanced Learning (TEL), Blended, Online and HyFlex environments
