TU Dublin is committed to creating a culture were staff with disabilities have the same opportunities to contribute and participate in every aspect of the University and are supported in reaching their full potential. The introduction of TU Dublin’s Supporting Staff with Disabilities Policy in December 2022 was a welcome and significant development demonstrating this commitment to you and future TU Dublin employees.
Collecting and reporting on the number of employees with a disability is an obligation of TU Dublin under the Disability Act 2005, and at the moment, we do this through a voluntary confidential annual questionnaire. The anonymous information you share with us continuously improves our understanding of the needs of staff with disabilities and highlights areas we need to action to help TU Dublin create a more inclusive and open environment for all.
