Building Scanning Notice – Áras Eolas (Block E)
As part of the Towards a Sustainable University Campus (TSUC) project, funded by the Higher Education Authority (HEA), surveying works will take place in Aras Eolas (Block E) to create a Building Information Model (BIM) using point cloud scanning technology.
Scanning Schedule
External building scan
- Monday 21 September
- Tuesday 22 September
Internal building scan
- Thursday 24 September
- Friday 25 September
- Monday 28 September
- Tuesday 29 September
Scanning hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
We have carefully planned these activities to minimise disruption to building users.
Privacy Notice
GDPR Compliance for the project was developed and publicised in April 2025. The scanning process includes image capture; however, all images are processed in compliance with GDPR requirements, and any identifiable faces will be automatically blurred. Read the Compliance Framework PCS.
