Climate Action TU Dublin 2025 Event
TU Dublin are hosting a ‘Climate Action TU Dublin’ event in Linenhall this October to coincide with the start of Climate Action Week 2025.
The event will allow researchers and academics to learn about the scope of TU Dublin's Climate Action Roadmap, gain knowledge and insights into the process of decarbonisation on campus, and contribute to a Climate Action Ideas Factory to explore ideas with potential to address the challenges and opportunities faced.
Academics and Researchers from diverse fields across STEM, creative and other disciplines at TU Dublin are encouraged to attend. The event format will allow participants to deepen their understanding of action to achieve the "national climate objective" and of how their research area and discipline can contribute to this, and to develop their network across disciplines and across the University.
Contributors include Rosie Webb, Head of Decarbonisation (Climate Action Roadmap); Orlaith McEvoy, Procurement and Contracts Manager (Green procurement); Brian Gormley, Head of Sustainability Education (Challenge-based learning); and Lindsay Dowling, Open Research Support Unit Lead (Idea sharing and accreditation). Helena Fitzgerald, Head of Societal Engagement will facilitate the event and the Ideas Factory and contribute on Living Lab innovation.
