Technological University Dublin staff members played in the Intervarsity Golf Competition 2025 on 17 April. It was the first time that the staff golf team from TU Dublin participated in this Ireland wide universities competition. The event was held in Athlone Golf Club and hosted by Technological University of the Shannon.

TU Dublin, captained by Kevin Byrne competed against nine other universities and performed well overall. Congratulations to Brian Bowe and Kevin Furlong who took the 'pairs prize', for their own fourball better ball performance.

The winners on the day were a team from Atlantic Technological University and the prize was received by their President Orla Flynn.

Engaging in campus sports supports United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, and aims to encourage our students and staff to live healthy lifestyles and promotes well-being for all at all ages.

TU Dublin Healthy Campus sponsored branded t-shirts and hoodies for the participating team.
